To support partner advocacy around this important issue, Transform Health has also developed a communications and digital outreach toolkit, equipping partners to engage with governments, regional bodies and other key stakeholders to prioritise the need for stronger governance of health data.

My Data Our Health campaign

The #MyDataOurHealth campaign was launched by Transform Health in January 2023 and has engaged thousands of individuals around the issue of access and control over personal #healthdata. 

The campaign raises the following questions: 

Effectively used, our health data can save lives. It can advance health-related research and make our health systems more efficient, effective and affordable. It is important that health researchers and planners have access to our data. However, this access needs to come with certain conditions and guarantees. It is essential that laws and regulations are in place to ensure we maintain control and ownership over that data and to protect our individual rights and privacy.
