RIS

Singapore’s health data governance is primarily regulated by the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), the Healthcare Services Act, and the Cybersecurity Act, along with provisions from the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore. These laws ensure the protection of personal and health data, promote data security, and enhance healthcare systems through integrated information systems and electronic health records. The framework fosters trust in data systems with a focus on transparency, accountability, and security. Gaps remain in areas such as data privacy, consent management, and cross-border data transfer.
